How does REPAIR BALM work?

Freshly shaved or depilated skin is particularly vulnerable to bacteria because it is mechanically irritated during treatment and loses some of its natural protection:

  • Razor blade – mechanical irritation of the skin surface
  • Warm wax – sticks to the skin and damages the protective barrier.
  • Epilator blades – the rotating motion irritates the skin.

When a hair is pulled out of the skin, a micro-opening is created into which bacteria can enter and cause pimples or other irritations.
