The glass vial (length: 50 mm, diameter: 8 mm) is set in 925 sterling silver and features a red Swarovski crystal. A necklace is included.

On May 13, 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to three shepherd children, and since then, on every 13th of the month. The children revealed their experience, which led to numerous visitors arriving in June, July, August, and September to witness this miraculous event for themselves.

The apparition predicted a miracle for October 13, and on that day, thousands witnessed the still-unexplained "miracle of the sun" – the sun was said to have resembled a silver disk and rotated like a wheel of fire.

On May 13, 1930, the Bishop of Leiria confirmed the credibility of the apparitions and permitted public veneration of Our Lady of Fátima at this site. With between 4 and 6 million visitors, Fátima is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations, attracting many sick people seeking a miraculous healing.
