material

• Swiss beech wood (FSC-certified wood, www.fsc-schweiz.ch) from cultivated forests that are being reforested, a product of nature, i.e. organic (since wood grows back).
• Ecological idea, environmentally friendly also because the file can be disposed of without hesitation.
• Excellent workmanship of the wooden parts, mostly by hand, no risk of injury from sharp edges or splinters, the edges are rounded, the file fits perfectly in the hand.
• Compared to plastic or thin, poor quality files, the wooden files made of 6mm thick beech wood are extremely stable and cannot be broken.

Painting

• We protect the environment by using water-based varnish. Dry varnish, colorless or colored, is completely harmless to the body (the same product is also used for wooden children's toys).
• Very good impact, bending and abrasion resistance
• Very good resistance to alcohol-based substances (wipe and spray disinfection is no problem), as well as to household chemicals and water, e.g., for quick cleaning under running water or immersion in cleaning/disinfectant solutions. However, do not leave the product in the liquid!

Sanding film

• "Sanitized" antibacterial treatment provides lasting protection against microbial contamination. The development of unpleasant odors and the destruction of the material are permanently prevented.
• The sanding sheets are of the highest quality, unique on the market. The backing material is made of waterproof coated paper. A service life of 10 years is by no means uncommon.
• The waterproof sanding film can be used on dry calluses as well as for wet sanding.
• The films are applied on both sides. One side is coated with 60-grit coarse sandpaper for sanding, the other with 100-grit fine sandpaper for sanding and smoothing dead skin.
• The abrasive grain is made of synthetic corundum with a Mohs hardness of 9 and a toughness suitable for the intended use (no glass or cheap emery!).
• The grains are evenly distributed on the substrate and cover the entire surface without any gaps. This results in more grain points per cm/2, higher removal rate, and less roughness, resulting in a uniform, fine finish. The skin immediately becomes soft and supple, which is good for more than just fine stockings.
• The abrasive grains are pre-fixed to the backing material using an electrostatic process with the base binder and firmly anchored to each other with the top binder (synthetic resin). This prevents grain loss during grinding of the skin. The penetration of grains into chapped, often inflamed, skin is prevented.

Further notes

• Carefully sand cracked, calloused skin only in the lengthwise direction of the cracks (not across the cracks to prevent further tearing of the skin).
• Do not grind inflamed skin areas or wounds.
